The Arc of Spokane purchased this existing building to consolidate its programs for the developmentally disabled, which was operating out of two separate facilities. Walker Construction teamed with Architects West on this design-build tenant Improvement. The project consisted of new parking lot drainage systems and asphalt, selective demolition of interior partitions, new roofing, insulation, new finishes, a new fire sprinkler system, and new mechanical and electrical systems. Some of the office space upstairs on the main floor was kept intact, but the majority of the floor was reconfigured. The downstairs was converted into a community center. A new elevator connects the two floors.
