BUILDING AND RENOVATING PLACES OF FAITH

We’ve built a lot of worship centers. Whether it’s a simple multipurpose room remodel, a 20-acre worship retreat, or multiple renovations at Spokane’s iconic St John’s Cathedral, we love to help bring these spaces to life. We know how to help your advancement team understand what your budget buys and yet we’re adept at “value engineering” — Finding more cost effective ways to achieve your goals. We know that most people charged with building or remodeling a worship center don’t have a lot of construction experience and we make it a point to educate you so you can make informed decisions.

SOLIDARITY

We’re in this with you. We mean that. We are people of faith ourselves. There is no higher privilege than to build you a space that inspires you and your congregation.

BUDGET GUARDIANS

Your budget is limited. That’s OK. We can help you maximize the funds you have. We’ll also embrace “phased construction” where we’ll help you plan for how to complete your project as new funds become available.

BEING AVAILABLE

There will be meetings and capital campaigns and questions and probably some more questions. We’re here. Ask us anything. We never feel it’s an imposition to educate you about the construction process.

ST JOHN’S COLUMBARIUM DOORS

An Artist’s Heart

This was a very special project not only for Walker Construction but for the congregation of St. John’s Cathedral on Spokane’s south hill. Internationally acclaimed artist Mark Gulsrud was commissioned to create stained glass art to serve as a visual and emotional transition between the interior welcome center to the outdoor Columbarium. Walker Construction’s craftsman prepared the space and worked with Mark to achieve a perfect installation. The result is breathtaking.
