Whitworth Athletic Leadership Center

This competitively bid project featured a long-anticipated building for Whitworth University as they sought to bring their entire athletics department and staff under one roof and create a central location for players and coaches to connect.  This 28,000 SF, state-of-the-art facility now houses all coaches’ offices for their 16 different sports programs, 131-stall football locker room, team room, conference rooms, study areas, a public lounge, and an exterior deck area.  There were several challenges to work through during construction, including a pandemic and subsequent State mandated construction shut down period. But the Owner-Architect-Contractor team communicated well and worked diligently together to overcome all obstacles and deliver a building that was sorely needed on campus.
